While I was up at St. Peter the Aleut's Summer Camp, Jared Rovny had a mystical item I was greatly attracted to. It was of solid form, yet the colors could be arranged in practically any order. It was assembled out of multiple cubes, yet somehow managed to form a complete entity. Give up? This wonderful toy is called a Rubik's Cube!
I decided to splurge on one of these $5 cubes last night. I just kept scrambling it, solving it, scrambling it, solving it. OVER AND OVER (~15-20 times). Within four hours I was able to solve the cube in a matter of a few minutes.
Thank you Jared for introducing me to this toy, I hope to be able to solve it in less than five seconds within this week.
Peace, Daniel
What question do you hate being asked?
*watching a movie*
Question: "DID YOU SEE THAT!?!?!?!"
Me: "No, moron, I was staring at the ceiling."
You know, personally, I've never really understood the point of blogging. Is it a place where you expect everyone to be obsessed about your own personal life? is it merely a e-diary? is it to improve your barren social lives/skills?
Oh well. I don't want to go on a rant about the average internet user, since I myself have just made a blog [quiet sob]. I secretly desire it to surpass all other blogs by infinitesimal greatness! (the how, [and the why], are still pending)
Peace, Daniel

Hello! This is me. I've just discovered that the sequel to 'Peter and the Shadow Thieves' comes out on Oct. 3!!! I think it's called 'Peter and the Secret of Randoon' or something. Hmmm... I hope it's good!!!

You're the Only Place
Seems
like our love is on the road to nowhere fast
All my life I thought a love like this would last
But every road can hide a corner we can't see
I had a vision that I woke up by your side
I felt you breathing and our souls were intertwined
But who controls love's destiny -- not me
We had it all
Right in our hands
We had the space to fly and still the place to land
So I'm calling out
I'm calling out you're the only one
Who can save us from what we've done
Don't leave me hanging on
I'm reaching out and praying you'll come back again
It's just darkness I'm living in
And you're the only place my heart has ever been
Maybe I'm young and in the ways of love, naïve
Maybe I'm desperate for a reason to believe
There wasn't anyway I thought that we would fall
I've seen perfection in a rainbow in the sky
I've seen a child make the coldest grown man cry
But loving you I thought was greater than them all
We had it all
Just you and me
And now there is a doorway to my heart without a key
So I'm calling out
I'm calling out to the only one
Who can save us from what we've done
Don't leave me hanging on
I'm reaching out and praying you'll come back again
It's just darkness I'm living in
And you're the only place my heart has ever been
Wherever you are right now
Come back and show me how you feel
Because I'm lost without you here
Calling out
I'm calling out to the only one
Who can save us from what we've done
Don't leave me hanging on
I'm reaching out and praying you'll come back again
It's just darkness I'm living in
And you're the only place my heart has ever been
Breakfast

Hold the milk, put back the sugar
They are powerless to console
We've gathered here to sprinkle ashes
From our late friend's cereal bowl
Breakfast Clubbers, say the motto
That he taught us to repeat:
"You will lose it in your gym class
If you wait 'til noon to eat"
Back when the Chess Club said our eggs were soft
Every monday, he'd say grace and hold our juice aloft
Oh, none of us knew his checkout time would come so soon
But before his brain stopped waving, he composed this tune...
CHORUS:
When the toast is burned
And all the milk has turned
And Captain Crunch is waving farewell
When the big one finds you
May this song remind you
That they don't serve breakfast in hell
Breakfast Clubbers, drop the hankies
Though to some our friend was odd
That day he bought those pine pajamas
His check was good with God
Those here without the Lord
How do you cope?
For this morning we don't mourn
Like those who have no hope
Oh, rise up, Fruit Loop lovers
Sing out Sweet & Low
With spoons held high
We bid our brother, "Cheerio!"
CHORUS (1X)
(Whistle...)
CHORUS (3X)
